Sew, stitch, serge, sculpt, glue, paint, pattern, press.
Wendy has been sewing since she was a teenager when her mother taught her to cut and stitch patterns. She regularly makes costumes for herself and others, having decades of experience hand crafting and sometimes designing projects from found objects, combining patterns, or utilizing inspiration pieces to build off of. She works with sewing machines, overlock sergers, hand stitching, embroidery, cross-stitch, crochet and even wool felting on occasion. She has collected vintage bobbles and bangles to create eye catching pieces leaving others to ask, “what did you use to achieve this look?”
